Safe Environment Policy

The Archdiocese of Atlanta requires all adults (18 years or older) who wish to serve as volunteers with children, youth, or vulnerable persons to complete Safe Environment training (VIRTUS), as well as a background check before beginning their service.

These measures seek to ensure a safe and protected environment for all members of our community.

Minor Volunteers

Youth volunteers ages 13 and older are also welcome to serve. To participate, they must complete:

• Minor volunteer application (with parental or guardian authorization)
• School reference form

In the case of homeschooled students, three personal references (non-family members) must be provided.
